The New Do

This is me with my new haircut. Yes, it does look alot like the old haircut. I am posting this pic, but sadly, I hate my smile. Too big, you can see where my teeth should be. Sad, but true. I was telling my sister this morning that since I've lost weight I can tell just how much my missing teeth have changed my face. Not taking care of my teeth is one of my biggest regrets. Maybe I will win the lottery and get a smile makeover...lol
The sweet girl that did my hair is my friend Koe. Anyway, not much else to say. Food is good. Slept late, will walk on teadmill this afternoon. I hate it when I don't get my walk in early. I rarely over sleep. Rode the bike to work and waved the entire way again this morning. Yep, I'm just that crazy.
Keep the mood and the food real..........do your do

  1. Your hair looks great - very shiny and healthy. That hairstyle suits you!

Until you pointed it out, I didn't notice your missing teeth. Regrets...yeah, I think we all have them. Hope the reverse tooth fairy can visit you one day.

  7. Thank you everyone. I wasn't fishing, but really appreciate all the nice compliments.

I guess I really am over sensitive about the teeth thing.

  10. I understand about the teeth "thing" since I'm a near 40 year old woman who's into her 9th month of a 3+ year sentence of braces!

    Your haircut is too cute.

    Keep smiling. It's infectious.

  13. I think you look lovely. But, since you mentioned it - Jody - Fit at 51 wrote on her blog about a $12,000 dental makeover someone is giving away. I can't remember the details exactly, but her site is www.truth2beingfit.com Check it out!

  14. I agree with everyone here in the comment section when they say great haircut and great smile. Don't be so hard on yourself. I must say, I understand about not having money for dental work. I had a top and bottom bridge and I charged it... $3,000... urgh... still paying for it... each month.

I love that you ride your bike each day and you wave to everyone... What a great way to start out the day. It sounds like you're doing so well on the food and exercise front... Take care.

  18. Love the haircut! And I think you have a beautiful smile!

  19. Oh no, don't hate your smile! I love your smile. We all need to have big smiles.

I have a crooked smile (a crooked head too). Whenever I would smile for pictures I'd always be focused on tilting my head so it was straight and make my mouth curve up more on what I thought as the droopy side. One day recently I gave up posing for pictures. I just smile, to heck with it. You know what, the pictures look way better than when I'm not "posing".

Anyway, I think you have a beautiful smile. It goes all the way up to your eyes. I love that. :)
